The Roshni Association runs workshops and offers residential care for people with special needs.

The workshops hosted at the Roshni Association are often focused on textiles and woodworking which allows the attendees to learn important interactive and educational skills for the workplace. 

The Roshi Association also runs a children’s school for children who live in the villages of the Karbath region. 

Sowaba Shehzad’s main responsibilities at the Roshni Association is focused on public relations. For example, in 2009, Ms. Shehzad hosted an event in cooperation with the German Embassy which highlighted the work of the Roshni Association. Public relations events like this help the Roshni Association raise money for the charity.
