Meet Sowaba Shehzad
Sowaba Shehzad’s journey to success has been consistent and marked with extraordinary achievements and milestones. She has an MBA qualification for which she is was awarded a gold medal, she holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations for which she received a national award. She has proven to be a determined leader who envisions an extraordinary future for all her ventures. Before setting up her own company, Sowaba worked for Siemens Pakistan Engineering company and headed the business unit of Home Appliances successfully for three years. She left Siemens in 2007 and formed her first company ALNO German Living and launched German Kitchen brands like Alno Kitchens, Gaggenau Home Appliances, Trugalmann Wardrobes, Optifit Kitchens. Currently she is heading Szwei GmbH in Düssledorf and is also serving as a Director of Holztec, Lahore Pakistan.

PAK-GERMAN INITIATIVES
Sowaba has made significant contributions to promote German culture and brands in Pakistan over the years.
While she was a part for Siemens Pakistan, Ms. Shehzad realized that there was a great opportunity to create synergies with other German companies in Pakistan. Ms. Shehzad contacted the German Embassy to help support her idea. Collaborating and organizing various marketing events, which allowed German brands to promote their products in Pakistan, followed up this idea.
With the support and management of Ms. Shahzad some top German companies jointly organized the first event for this campaign, Germany on the Road.
