Sowaba Shehzad was the proud organizer of the 2016 Pakistan-Germany Springfest with the amazing support of the German Embassy Islamabad. The Pakistan-Germany Springfest was hosted in April 2016 at the Holztek Farmhouse in Lahore, Pakistan.
The Springfest was established in order to allow the German and Pakistani business community to come together and celebrate their bilateral business ties with one another. Sponsors had the opportunity to showcase their products in their own featured booths. The focus of the Springfest is on products “Made in Germany” and sold in Pakistan and vice-versa, “Made in Pakistan” and sold in Germany.
The net earnings from every Springfest are then collected and given to various charities. This year the money went to supporting Mission High School Dalwal, who offers education for more than 300 underprivileged children in Pakistan.
