In an effort to bring together Pakistan-based German organizations and businesses, Sowaba Shehzad on behalf of her company ALNO Kitchens hosted the third official Oktoberfest in 2019 in collaboration with Anne Marie Schimmel Haus / Goethe Institute and German Embassy at their Farmhouse in Lahore, Pakistan. The first Oktoberfest was hosted back in 2016 with great success.
The evening was filled with German tradition, live music, beer, and of course, classic German cuisine. It was an amazing way to be able to bring the German community in Pakistan together to create new friends, generate business opportunities, and simply enjoy a little bit of magic from the homeland.
