Sowaba Shehzad was delighted and honored to have been invited to speak to Deutsche Welle viewers about International Women’s Day in Bonn, Germany on March 8, 2020.
The entire day was filled with inspiration and power as women from all around the country came together to speak up about the strength of women and women’s rights.
The celebration motto was “Ohne uns steht die Welt still” (without us, the world would be at a standstill) which is the motto of the Frauenstreik (women’s strike) in Bonn.
